Every once in a while, an artist has the rare good fortune to work with a model who inspires creativity whenever she works with them. I am blessed beyond measure to have had this happen to me three times in my life, and I am proud to present the first AF work from my first muse, Xotica:

I am working with both of my other muses on AF projects, too; all I can say is, I am amazed by some of the work that has come through my studio in the past month, and I can't wait for everyone else to share it, too!

Okay, the thing that has always driven me away from identifying myself as a fetish photographer, even though much of what I shoot definitely falls into the category, is the quality issue. As in, there isn't that much in the field as a whole.
Now, I will freely concede that, given the subject of a beautiful woman doing sexy things, a snapshot is sufficient unto the purpose for the conventional use of the photo. Heaven knows, there is a vigorous industry of "alternative" women with poorly lit photos making money being naked and mildly unconventional, but it hasn't really been something I wanted to be associated with. There are quality models and photographers in the fetish field, easily as good as anyone out there, but they are relatively sparse.
Artistic Fetishes was pitched to me by the remarkable Dr. Molly Black as a place where the art comes first and foremost, and she has applied that principle ruthlessly. You will see an astonishing range of fetishes, models, photographic styles, and images, and you may not love them all, but you will stop and look at them. I was somewhat startled, when I logged in to the pre-launch AF, to realize that I had gone through the entire gallery system; it's reassuring that I have some great images to live up to...
So here I am, PhotoGothy, proud, Artistic Fetish photographer!

So, here I am at my new home-away-from-home, Artistic Fetishes! (AF for those in the know, I'm given to understand...) Since this is my first official visit, I thought I'd do a meet and greet! I'm Sam, and you might have run across me as PhotoGothy in my photogapher guise, or DarkLeather in my craftsman guise. Either way, me and my admittedly unconventional eye are here at AF for the duration, sharing my view of the world with you all.
